Original Paintings by Sue Dickinson

Sue’s preferred painting medium for her original paintings is watercolour. This under-rated medium is widely acknowledged by artists and experts to be the most difficult painting medium, because there is no room for error with watercolour painting – once it is on the paper, it is almost impossible to remove.  Sue’s original wildlife paintings do not attempt to reproduce reality; rather, they convey the spirit and essence of African wildlife.  The composition of her wildlife paintings is crucial, with empty white space being just as important as the subject itself.

Please note: the background colour of these paintings is white, in the same style as Sue’s other works seen above. The colouration seen is due to the fact that these are photographs, as there are no digital images of the artworks available.
